Some children are very distracted by the additions to 1 in Comic Sans, others confuse the 'p' with 9 - especially those who aren't working L-R consistently. The second set is in Rage Italic font which has numbers more like hand-written ones.

Print the MAKE QUESTIONS AND STATEMENTS on card. The little cards will be more manageable if you use full size A4, but they are legible if you print 2-up. Basically it is an activity requiring rearrangement of word cards to make questions or statements but there are other ideas in the guide too.

Basically these price tags are for (a) making it clear whether the price has been covered by the 'money' tendered and (b) whether any change is owing. The concept of 'difference' in sums in words or shopping is often a real stumbling block for many children.

Each file focuses on a verb and contains four examples. The symbol line targets sentences with a subject, verb and object. Easy to make your own extra booklets if you have Word and CIP available.

Pairs and Dominos are as in the Dinosaur Games upload, plus a Lotto layout (make extra copies of this page as required). Print the COUNT 1-6 DINOSAURS 2-up on A4 and cut to A5 to make a book (or use for sequencing). Print DINOSAURS 1-5, 2-up, on A4 card and cut to make a set of cards to arrange in order. These can be made into a grid pattern with numerals or dice patterns. Suggestions for use included.

These were made in 1-1 sessions with different children to put down their ideas and info for discussion and revision. An example can be re-used and modified for another child. Text or illustrations can be incorporated as appropriate to suit different ability levels. These examples may serve as prompts for making maps on these or other topics. A printed copy can be a starting point for adding new ideas around the edge.

The pages could be presented with a simplified telling. If the CD is available, it is always useful to hear the story read exactly the same lots of times and the pages could accompany this. The song prompt cards for one of the CD songs lists the 'wow words' - listen and find the card, or use the card to sing the song with the instrumental version. The mind-map is a prompt for children to retell the story in their own way.
